Checkout plugin terms

The terms for using the KSPR checkout plugin for Framer and its subscription. They apply in addition to the privacy notice.

Provider

Lulu Amani by Kasper, Alexander Kasper, Klarastrasse 2, 4600 Olten, Switzerland, contact@luluamani.ch, +41 77 410 71 77. KSPR Studio (KSPR) is a brand of this business.

What the plugin does

The plugin and our checkout service at kspr.online/checkout connect your Framer site to your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect Standard). The plugin creates Stripe products and prices from the products in your Framer CMS. When your customers check out, our service creates a Stripe Checkout session in your Stripe account, with prices read from Stripe. Payments, payouts, refunds and taxes stay in your Stripe account; we never hold your money. You need your own Stripe account and accept Stripe's terms for it.

The plugin is in a private beta. Features may still change.

Prices

Billing

The subscription is billed in advance for each month through Stripe Billing and renews automatically. Invoices and payment methods are managed in the Stripe customer portal, which you open from the plugin. If you add more websites to the same subscription, the share for the rest of the current period is charged right away.

Cancellation and refund

You can cancel at any time, in the plugin for one website or in the Stripe customer portal for the whole subscription. The cancellation takes effect immediately. We ask for the reason in a short survey; you have to pick one before you cancel.

For the current period you get a pro rata refund for the time you no longer use, minus the matching share of Stripe's processing fee. In numbers: refund = amount for the cancelled websites × unused share of the period × (payment - Stripe fee) ÷ payment, rounded down to the cent. Example: you paid $9.9.00 for a month, Stripe kept a fee of about $0.83, and you cancel right at the start: you get about $8.16 back.

There is no refund during the free trial, for periods paid with a 100% discount, after a period has ended, or when the subscription ended because a payment failed. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Grace period

If a payment fails or after a cancellation, live checkout keeps working for 7 more days. After that, live checkout on your site shows "Checkout temporarily closed" until a subscription is active again. Your Framer site itself keeps running, and test mode stays available.

Your responsibilities as the seller

You are the seller in your own shop. You are responsible for your products, prices, taxes (for example VAT or sales tax), invoices, shipping, returns, customer support and for your own legal texts such as terms, privacy notice and imprint. You make sure your shop and your products are lawful and allowed by Stripe. If you sell age-restricted products, you set up the required checks; the plugin can show a required terms checkbox at checkout, which needs a terms URL in your Stripe account. For the personal data of your customers you are the controller. Where we process such data on your behalf, our data processing agreement applies.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the checkout service available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service depends on Stripe and Framer, and maintenance can cause short interruptions. We may develop the service further. We tell you about changes to prices or these terms at least 30 days in advance by email; you can cancel before they apply.

Suspension

We may suspend a website if it is used for fraud, for products Stripe or the law does not allow, or in a way that endangers the service. If we end the service for a website without cause on your side, we refund the unused time in full.

Liability and law

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the plugin in the last 12 months, as far as the law allows. We are not liable for lost sales caused by outages at Stripe or Framer, or for the content of your shop. Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence stay in force. Place of jurisdiction is Olten, Switzerland, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
